Building trust? - Start with Why

Looking through some presentations I saw in Amsterdam last week, I am going to recommend the presenters take a look at the work of Simon Sinek. That's because I find it fascinating that more people don't start with why they are doing something. We don't do it because it is often the most difficult to explain. Everyone can talk about what they're doing, some can even explain how they are doing it. But few can explain why they want to change something. His presentation in Maastricht goes more into detail about why we trust those who know why they are doing something. Want a reference in your pocket? You'll find a more extensive text of the talks on this post are in the book.
