Photoshopping Reality - The Jury is In

Impressed by Tim Parkins analysis of this years' Landscape Photo of the Year. Too much evidence of Photoshopping by this year's winner David Byrne lead to his disqualification. I don't believe David deliberately tried to mislead. But the prize was for photography not photoshop skills. I still find his shot of the boats in Lindisfarne Castle in Northumberland to be magical. Been there in person several times. I need to acknowledge an article by Michael Zhang of Petapixel for the tip off.

Tenement Buildings at Port Glasgow, Inverclyde by Simon Butterworth, the new winning image.

Mind you, Simon Butterworth, the new winner of the 10,000 pound prize money, deserves it for this shot.
