It's about time.
I need to start a chat room for a media project. Problem is that forum software is a bit like Powerpoint. Neglected since around 1995. Clunky, clumsy and not integrated into other platforms.
However, things are looking up. I Think I have found the solution. Its called Discourse.org

- a mailing list
- a forum to discuss something
- a chat room where you can type paragraphs
