This is a particularly interesting edition of Tech News Today, because of the coverage they gave of the Facebook developers conference. What struck me most was how Mark Zuckerberg is using more and more terms borrowed from mainstream media. Facebook has to evolve into a trusted platform. To do so, it has to be very clear about what it knows. Facebook Anonymous means that users can play with other apps, presumably try before you buy. But you are never anonymous to Facebook. In countries with curious governments and almost free access to Facebook, this is offering citizens a false sense of security.
