Decided to wait in line for 30 minutes on St Mark's square and climb the tower (actually you can't climb, they charge you 6 Euros for the lift and will not accept 10 Euro notes). Great view from the top...but nearly got deafened at 2 pm when the bells in the belfry about 2 metres above me decided to have a bit of a peel.
