Really enjoyed the keynote speech by Andy Duncan of Channel 4 in London this morning. He gave an excellent overview of the way commercial public service broadcasting should (and is) tackling the cross-media future. In short, they are preparing a bid for bandwidth for a third national DAB bouquet to be announced in the UK shortly. Andy also says that Channel 4 will put all its TV shows up on the web soon, although limiting the access to the UK because of rights issues. Most people in the UK do not realise that Channel 4 has a public service committment. I'm impressed with the standard of radio shows on the website.
