Simon Spanswick introduced two speakers, one from All India Radio, the other is the new boss of Al Jazeera International. The former is hoping to close its external radio service as soon as possible - AIR external services costs 10 million dollars a year and has no discernable audience at all. Al Jazeera International will start its new English global TV channel in Q1 in 2006.
