Wow - what a transformation! The photo above was taken in November last year. The black hoarding was there for most of 2011. Until now.

The old Hirsch building, which used to house the finest fashions in Europe has been transformed into what is one of the most beautiful Apple stores on the planet. It works because of the use of daylight right in the centre of the building, although Apple apparently had to argue with all sorts of local authorities in order to make these alterations to the building. But I am glad they persisted. It is beautiful.

The local free newspaper carried an article yesterday about how a Dutch based creative leadership school called THNK is trying to train leaders of creative companies to think like Steve Jobs. Hold the course in a place like this and you begin to understand why.
