Winter Returns to the Netherlands again

Turns out its a bit too early to be thinking about spring and summer time. Getting colder again. And it seems that this video which is often connected to the start of spring (cows being let loose in the pasture) was acutally made in May.

The summer in the Netherlands has certainly proved to the challenging (to use management speak. - it's crap basically). Woke up to glorious sunshine - and the thunder rolls in by lunchtime. Reminds me of autumn in Flordia. I can understand how the light inspired those painters a few centuries ago. But for now, I need to find an umbrella.

Snuggle Weather

A day to stay indoors and upgrade a Windows 7 computer. Yes a clean install is going to be needed. But with the snow falling outside, great music on the hi-fi, it's really kind of fun.
