It is so cold in the Netherlands at the moment. Spring is definitely on hold. It reminds me of a radio expedition I made to Northern Finland in January 1995. Fortunately, I saved the tape and it's back on the Internets where it belongs. I went up to Oulu to listen to radio stations on mediumwave over the Northern pole. I'd be bonkers to do it now. But in 1995 there were few stations on the web and the unpredictability of the propagation up there in North Pole was magic. Enjoy...

Found this fascinating collection of interval signals posted by SWLDXBulgaria. RNW didn't do too well, but the clips from stations in Russia are rather unique.
