Awful confusion of Prussian and Bavarian stereotypes, e.g. the duelling aristocrat and Brandenburg Gate (Prusssian) and the Bavarian band and waitress in low cut blouse with plate of sausages. And Bavaria and Prussia were at war as recently as 1866 which is not long ago really. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Austro-Prussian_War)
Wonder if they are using it in Germany. Haven't seen it on German TV. Mind you, they just bought "Allo Allo". Would what the French would do if it was a British situation - perhaps bowler hats and haggis. Thanks for the comment.
