Making plans to attend the biannual IFA this year. Seems it will be an important launch for new DRM receivers, as well as the moment that we see a lot of HD consumer receivers being shown to the public for the first time. Europe is behind Japan and the US in roll-out of HD, but when you see the new displays, you won't want to go back. It will make your home movies look terrible though. I see that Media Markt in Amsterdam is already using a Blu-Ray laser DVD player to feed video to all its large LCD and Plasma screens. Even the bad stuff looks good...which I suppose is the point.
