Now with former head of the multimedia news room Peter Horrocks
running the show, the question is if business development and workflow optimization will leave enough place for investing into quality content.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5972592.post-6412622570251481942009-01-24T08:28:00.000+01:002009-01-24T08:28:00.000+01:00I really enjoyed reading your article, Jonathan. As someone who works on the BBC World Service, I was very interested to read your views on where you believe it stands to succeed or fail, and I do share some of the same concerns.

As an aside, I'd love to hear those old tapes you found! That really was a different era; the one that first introduced me to the network. I wonder if, in our digital age, hearing London calling from afar still elicits the same reactions it once did? Sitting in front of a microphone in Bush House, I like to think so, but maybe I'm just being nostalgic, too…Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5972592.post-80059101826307844642009-01-23T09:06:00.001+01:002009-01-23T09:06:00.001+01:00Hello..
