The History of Social Media

In 2010, my son Christopher, dipped into my archives and those from an open BBC project. He also did some of his own interviews and compiled a video documentary as part of his final exams at the University of Amsterdam. It actually turned into a rather nice overview of what we were all thinking social media would develop into. For the most part, the principles outlined here haven't changed that much. It's just that some of the software that was hyped then has now been built. I think this is worth a second look.
