Telling beautiful stories - stunning shots of the West Coast....

Some fascinating stories coming out of the National Association of Broadcasting convention taking place in Las Vegas this week. Actually, it is covered so well by other journalists. This year I have been very impressed with what is happening to cameras and clever add ons that make the impossible possible.

Teton Gravity Research is not the most inspiring of names. Until you see the aerial photography they shot over San Francisco.

Teton Gravity Research Aerial Reel - The Bay Area in 4K from Teton Gravity Research on Vimeo.

From the Golden Gate Bridge to Alcatraz to the Bay Lights at night, see the Bay Area's most iconic locations like you've never seen them before. Shot in 4K/"Ultra-HD," Teton Gravity Research presents the first footage from their new RED Epic-equipped gyrostabilized camera platform: The GSS C520. The GSS C520 is a portable 5-axis system that houses a range of leading digital cinema cameras, like the Epic and Sony F55, while also capable of integrating future advancements in camera technology.

Breathtaking shots - accompanied by music that fits like a glove from Two Steps from Hell composer Thomas Bergersen. Actually giant steps as far as I am concerned. Do let the video buffer and watch it on the largest screen possible. Having extensively explored that part of the world over the years, this footage brings back memories in floods.

So who will help me make similar stunning shots of the West Coast of Europe? We have great stories to tell too..
