I have done the canal boat trip many times in Amsterdam - its always different. This time the boat was actually a steamboat, though with an oil-fired boiler. Shoveling coal would be a bit too much. Almost impossible to take a picture because of the reflection. What looks like fire is infact the lights along the canal reflected in glass.
